What would be a good wii game to play for an outdoor event?
We are looking for a fun way for kids to play in a "Wii Tournament". The Ronald McDonald House is having a reunion of families that have stayed there and plan on raising funds to add-on a bunch more rooms as the current building, though large, could provide for more families in need. I am going to have a Guitar Hero III competition going on but need to find something on the Wii that is a bit quicker so that a larger quantity of people can participate. Needs to be something that requires little to no operational instruction and something all ages can enjoy. I was thinking about maybe racing in Mario vs. Sonic @ Olympic Games. That's what Nintendo had as a quick competition @ a vendor fair...two people race-winner gets a prize. (It was a DS Lite bundle there!) The controls are easy and the race is not 4-5 mins long like a song on Guitar Hero. Can you think of anything we could play to excite these kids in a tournament type format? We would love to tie in a way to raise money too!
Mario Kart.
Up to 4 people can play at a time and all you do is put on some gas and steer! Anyone can learn within 30 seconds or less. What could be easier? You don't need to use the steering wheel that comes with the game, and it's actually easier to play it using the Gamecube Controllers, but for a tournament, I think it would be more fun using the Wiimote/Steering wheel combo.
