HISTORY FINAL PROJECT - the interrelationship between the underlying causes of WWII?
I need some help.
I'm doing a final project for history and I need help with this question:
Demonstrate the interrelationship between the underlying causes of WWII.
Can anyone help me here?
Also,
why was the war in the sky vital to the success of the allies?
Thanks in advance!
I don't fully understand your question but i will give it a shot, World War 2 started because first and foremost the the Treaty of Versailles at the end of World War 1 left Germany in ruin, Germany went into a depression, the people lost hope and turned to the first person who offered them hope and that was Adolf Hitler, her promised to bring Germany back to Glory and the people followed him, he rebuilt the military and the industrial structure of the country, with the country firmly in his pocket he began his conquest of Europe. The war in the Pacific was caused by imperialistic goals of Japan, Japan invaded China and started conquering it when the U.S. cut off all trade with the country, this forced Japan to look for its resources elsewhere and that area was the South Pacific however it could no do this with the U.S. Pacific Fleet being a major presence in the Pacific so that is why Pearl Harbor was bombed to remove the Pacific Fleet from interfering with and expansion. As far as control of the skies go if a country controls the skies he can dominate the battlefield by limiting his opponents movements, reinforcements, they can disrupt communication, transportation to and from the battlefield, they can also destroy the opposing country of producing war material, this is why control of the sky is so important.
I hope this helps you in some way.
